Biography:
Allison was raised in West Chester, Ohio, just north of Cincinnati. She graduated from Lakota East High School in 2003. Allison attended college at Eastern Kentucky University from 2003 to 2007, earning her BA in Political Science with a minor in Spanish. During college, Allison was president of her sorority, Chi Omega, and on the executive board of many organizations, including Student Government, Student Alumni Ambassadors, and Delta Epsilon Iota to name a few. Also, during her senior of college, Allison worked on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. for then House Majority Leader, John Boehner.
Allison earned her J.D from the University of Kentucky, College of Law, where she studied from 2007 to 2010. She was a member of the trial advocacy board and on the executive board of the Student Bar Association. During law school, Allison worked at the UK Legal Clinic providing pro bono legal services and completed an externship at the Children's Law Center, representing the rights of students struggling within the local school system.
Allison joined the firm as a legal clerk the summer before her third year of law school and became an associate upon passing the bar exam. She works primarily in civil litigation defense with an emphasis in insurance defense, motor vehicle litigation, premises liability and products liability.
Allison is the President of the Richmond Area Chi Omega Alumni Chapter and an advisor for the active Chi Omega chapter on EKU's campus. In her spare time, Allison enjoys experiencing all Lexington has to offer from Keeneland to live music with her friends. She loves to play golf, read, and travel and attends church at Centenary United Methodist Church in Lexington.
