Biography:
Ben grew up in Louisville and attended DuPont Manual High School until his family moved to Richmond, Kentucky, where he finished high school. He attended the University of Kentucky and majored in Political Science. He graduated cum laude from the University of Kentucky and returned to Louisville to attend law school at the University of Louisville.
During law school, Ben interned with the Supreme Court of Kentucky and worked as a law clerk in the legal department of a large energy holding company. After graduation, he began working for the Kentucky Division of Unemployment, where he conducted administrative hearings to determine the rights of employers and employees in unemployment proceedings. He then worked as an Associate at a firm, which focused on workers’ compensation.
Ben began working as an Associate at Ward, Hocker, and Thornton in 2011. He works in the Louisville office and his practice focuses on defending civil claims and commercial litigation.
