Biography:
Brian is originally from Lexington, Kentucky. He grew up in Lexington and attended Lexington Catholic High School. He attended college at Birmingham-Southern in Birmingham, Alabama. He initially played baseball for the Panthers but decided to step away and to focus entirely on academics after his freshman year. He graduated cum laude from Birmingham-Southern after only three years and he returned to Lexington to attend law school at the University of Kentucky.
Brian started with the firm as a summer intern in 1996. He was hired as an associate after he passed the bar exam in 1998 and he became a partner in 2006. His focus has been in defending civil claims arising from car accidents, construction defect claims and product liability claims. He also represents and defends insurance companies in Declaratory Judgment Actions and bad faith claims. Brian works in the Lexington and Louisville offices and he gives seminars on various insurance topics in both cities. He represents clients in almost every county of the state and in both Federal Districts.
Brian's travels take him state-wide but he loves the Bluegrass Region and he lives on a small farm outside of Lexington with his wife, Tammy, and their three daughters. They are active with the local YMCA and their church and they spend any free time outdoors, playing sports, or attending University of Kentucky events.
