Biography:
Ian Godfrey was born in Weston, WV, and moved to London, KY when he was ten. After graduating from South Laurel High School in 2001, he attended the University of Louisville, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science in 2005. He was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, wrote for the school paper, and participated in the Resident Student Association. He received his Juris Doctor from Brandeis School of Law in 2008.
Ian began working with Ward, Hocker & Thornton as a law clerk in January of 2007. Since then he has remained with the firm and taken an associate position, practicing insurance defense and workers compensation.
Ian is a member of the Louisville Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
