Biography:
Walter Ward was a founding member of the firm in 1984, after being a partner in a large prominent Louisville insurance defense firm from 1975 to 1984, and 18 months as a defense trial lawyer for the state of Kentucky. In these 35 years of civil litigation, he is AV peer rated by Martindale-Hubbell as to ability and ethics.

Additionally, he is named by peer review selection in the Best Lawyers of America 1997-2009, inclusive of their 10 year anniversary recognition. He is listed as one of the top attorneys in Kentucky, by peer selection, by the Kentucky Superlawyers publication.

He is married to Reverend Blanca Mikell Ward and parent to four now young adults, ages 21 to 30.

He is a frequent presenter at seminars and institutes sponsored by the Kentucky Bar Association, the University of Kentucky College of Law, the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians, and employer and insurance clients. He is presently serving on the planning committee for the Biennial Workers’ Compensation Institute, sponsored by the University of Kentucky College of Law.
